Hello to anyone visiting our Gesu Catholic School website!
I am Fr. Craig Irwin, OSFS, and I am the new pastor of Gesu Church & Catholic School as of July 1, 2026. While I have been working at Gesu since I was ordained a priest in 2022, I am now taking over as pastor as our previous pastor, Fr. Marty Lukas, enters into retirement.
As a product of Catholic education (St. Clement Elementary School, Class of 1999; St. Francis de Sales School, Class of 2003), I personally know the value of a faith-based educational setting. When I look back, I can say with certainty that my educational experiences in my Catholic grade school and high school helped form me into the man that I am today. And it is my great hope that Gesu Catholic School, with its 106 year history, is still a place where children can learn and grow into young men and women of excellence who will help lead our city, our country, and the Church into even bigger and better things!
So, as I begin my tenure as the thirteenth pastor of Gesu Church & Catholic School, please know of my prayers for all of the families that are a part of our Gesu Catholic School community. Whether you are a member of our Church community or not, you are welcome here and are an integral part of the Gesu family.
May God bless you and all of our children!
